Desert Thunder Raceway is a 1/8th mile dragstrip with complete facilities for drag racers - from novice to professional -- with events for every type of racer and fan -- including jr dragsters, dragsters and doorslammers.

We're conveniently located on Interstate 20 north access road at SCR 1250 and south of Business 20 (Hwy 80).  Westbound I-20 take Loop 250 Exit 131, cross Loop intersection and go 2 miles on I-20 north access road.  Eastbound take Midland International Airport Exit 126 (FM 1788), cross over I-20 and right on I-20 north access road 4 miles to entrance.  The facility is situated on a 48-acre tract fronting I-20 and SCR 1250.  Travelers on Business 20 will cross south railroad tracks at first crossing east of Midland International Airport (sign Blue Max); turn left on access road and SCR 1250 will be immediate right; proceed south to Pit Entrance on SCR 1250, or right on I-20 access road to Spectator Entrance.
